Social media highlights from Valentines Day 2024 Times Square Wedding Ceremonies.

Love blossomed in Times Square on Valentine’s Day 2024, as three couples exchanged vows amidst the morning sun. Against the iconic New York City skyline, a heart-shaped ice sculpture set the stage for romance. Two surprise engagements, magnificently displayed on the American Eagle big screen, added to the excitement, capturing the hearts of onlookers. As a photographer, I immortalized these moments of pure joy, where love conquered the city’s bustle.

For the 2024 installation, Times Square Arts collaborated with Governors Island Arts to curate an exceptional installation. During the third annual Governors Island Ice Sculpture Show, a winning piece emerged: “Smitten” by Bronx-based artist Lovie Pignata. This captivating sculpture portrays two mittens delicately touching, forming a heart between their fingers. Okamoto Studio skillfully brought Pignata’s design to life in Duffy Square, debuting it on February 14th. The larger-than-life sculpture features a heart-shaped opening, perfectly framing a kiss between the two mittens, inviting couples to share a moment of love in the heart of Times Square. The day was a testament to love’s enduring power, promising brighter days ahead.
